Cash/ATM – HSBC is located at 196 Oxford St, just 5 minutes walk; Barclays is at 15-17 Great Portland Street, also a 5 minutes walk; or Nat West at 250 Regent Street, just a 2 minute walk from the hotel.

Eating – The Carnaby is the all day brasserie at the hotel. Central & Co is next door, offering an intimate modern all-day brasserie and bar. Chinese food chain Ping Pong Soho is just up the road at number 45 Great Marlborough Street.

Drinking – The lounge bar in the hotel offers cocktails in a novel setting of former prison cells. The Cocktail Trading Co is round the corner at 22 Great Marlborough Street. Costa Coffee is up the road a little, at 14 Great Marlborough Street.

Venue

The Courthouse Hotel Theatre is, as the name suggests, located in the Courthouse Hotel. The hotel houses one of the largest private cinemas in Central London which seats 100 people and can be utilised for a variety of uses, including screenings, product launches, meetings & Christmas Parties.

The hotel offers a bespoke service for a wide range of events, tailoring the event to the clients' requests.

History

The building was, in fact as the name suggests, The Great Marlborough Street Magistrate's Court. The building is now listed in London and the courthouse was the location of many famous cases over the years, such as the 1st obscenity trial for a comic book in English history.
